Nine consecutive sessions have added ~$3.08 billion, per Decrypt’s tracker, though daily flow size has faded sharply from its Sept. 21 peak.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $66.19 million in net inflows on Sept. 29, extending their winning run to nine straight sessions, according to Decrypt’s Bitcoin ETF tracker. The streak has taken in about $3.08 billion since Sept. 17, narrowly topping August’s nine-day run of roughly $3.04 billion.
Bitcoin traded near $84,400 on Wednesday and below its September high around $87,350, CoinGecko data showed. Flow momentum has cooled: daily net inflows have stepped down from $999 million on Sept. 21 to $66 million on Sept. 29 — a roughly 93% deceleration by calculation from Decrypt’s figures.
On a weekly basis, Decrypt reported that the week ending Sept. 25 drew about $2.4 billion — the largest weekly haul since October 2025 — pushing the funds back into positive territory for 2026.
The inflow run followed a brief wobble around the Federal Reserve’s Sept. 16 rate increase. Decrypt noted two days of roughly $746 million in outflows ahead of a $159.5 million swing back to inflows on Sept. 17. That sequence establishes the timeline; it does not by itself pin flows on the policy move.
The current nine-day streak still trails the 13 consecutive sessions reached in June 2025. Matching that mark would require net inflows through Monday, Oct. 5, per Decrypt.
What to watch next
- Streak persistence: whether inflows continue toward or beyond the 13-day record from June 2025 (Decrypt).
- Run-rate stability: nine days totaling about $3.08 billion equates to roughly $342 million per day on average — a calculation from Decrypt’s figures — and whether that average steadies or re-accelerates.
- Flow sizing: any rebound from the latest $66 million print would indicate firmer near-term appetite.
- Price confirmation: whether Bitcoin’s spot price action (CoinGecko) tracks sustained creations.

🧠 HafidWatch Take
The slowing pace of daily inflows suggests that while demand remains positive, a significant drop below the current $66 million level could signal weakening conviction rather than steady allocation. Maintaining the streak alone isn’t enough; sustained inflows need to align with Bitcoin’s price strength to confirm genuine investor confidence. A divergence between inflows and price momentum would challenge the perception of durable demand, highlighting the interplay between net creations and market sentiment as key to understanding the ETF’s impact.
